Middle schoolers, don’t forget that Bible Breakfast is on Tuesdays now! We can take cash or card payment (but not Apple Pay). If you pay with cash, PLEASE bring $1 bills. Doors open at 7:45 AM.

Bible Breakfast will return next Tuesday, September 3rd! To streamline the initial check-in process, we are asking parents to please pre-register their kids at this link: https://destin-methodist-church-81933.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2478740 For those of you who have had kids attend in the past, let us know in the comments what they liked most about it. Destin Methodist Student Ministry: Semester Updates!

Calling all 4th-7th graders and friends of Tucker Reese: We are hosting a “Pray and Play” on Sunday, August 11th from 1:00-3:00. Meet us in the Dock (youth room) for a devotional followed by gym time where we’ll spend the afternoon playing! This will be the perfect way to start off the school year, so come hang out with us!

It is with great sadness, yet heavenly hope that we announce the passing of one of our incredible youth volunteers, Rich Ruch. Rich faithfully served with us this past school year as a small group leader for our middle school boys. He was a tremendous mentor and devoted follower of Jesus. Because of his love for Christ, we know that Rich is sitting at the feet of Lord singing “holy holy holy!”

Rich is also the grandfather of Ellie, Finn, and Deacon Martin. We ask that you be in prayer for this family and that the Lord would provide peace and comfort for them in Rich’s absence.

This past week we went on an incredible mission trip to Memphis, Tennessee, partnering with Street Reach and transforming the lives of 40+ children at a time through captivating Bible clubs. We also got the chance to spread joy and hope at a laundromat and activity clubs, leaving a lasting impact on our own hearts as well. We eagerly anticipate next year’s return! We are so grateful to our leaders and supporters for making this journey possible and for their unwavering prayers.

It was amazing to see our youth pour into the kids and also into the community of Memphis. I can tell you this just from watching them this past week… our future is in amazing hands and God is going to do amazing things through these incredible students! 👏🏼✝️🙌🏼
