The overnight low at Mount LeConte was -22 degrees! Records only date back to 1988 for this site. This low ties for 2nd place as the coldest temp ever recorded. The record is -23 degrees, set back on 2/19/2015. We estimate the wind chill to have been close to -50 degrees!
