Dance is my Love Language💙

This week Charlie has her first comp and even though it’s a “practice” comp to get on stage before their studio starts their season I could not be MORE excited. I love watching her on stage, she loves being there and this design just really represents how we both feel about this sport. ✨

5678 is one of our three original designs that started our dance collection. As a creative I often have random ideas that come to me late at night, in the shower, driving, etc. I had this idea a couple of years ago to do a gallery wall in our basement of Charlie’s dance photos. I saw these serif art prints of single numbers (probably meant for the number of people in your family) but I thought … what if I got a 5,6,7, and 8 … are you still with me?! So when thinking of a dance design that would be universal I decided to try it and I love how the numbers looked together in this configuration. This exact colorway has been one of our best sellers as well! I’m glad this idea finally made its way somewhere and out of my brain 🫠

Today we went to my niece’s dance competition to watch her kill it on stage. Annnnnnd … we got to see so many friends and fam wearing our designs! 🥹🥹🥹 It meant to so much to me and gets me even more excited to get this season going 🤍

5 6 7 8 // this design was our first true collaboration. I originally designed it in all black on a neutral tee and Charlie suggested this color palette even adding the pop of citron for the “one more time”. I loved it and was so excited when it was purchased in our first order EVER. It makes me so happy to be doing this line with her … she has great taste and a love for fashion just like her mama 🩷
