I am incredibly proud of the Blue Star Mothers of America - Iowa Chapter Moms for everything they do for our military, our veterans and our Gold Star families. I have seen everything they do to support one another and others. These ladies are committed & put in countless hours of hard work towards their mission, especially this last year. Thank you to Rep. Miller-Meeks (seen here with April and me at the Capitol Hill Club) for recognizing the valuable role Blue Star Mothers play in supporting our military and sponsoring H.R.1332 to recognize February 1st as National Blue Star Mothers Day. Our sons & daughters may sign on the line to fight & defend but their families serve along with them, especially the Mothers who bore, raised and gave them to us all. The load of pride, worry, and love that my wife April and her fellow Blue Star Moms carry for their children is indescribable and having a day recognizing these special mothers is well deserved. Iowa peeps and my Florida peeps too. please contact your Congressional members in DC and ask them to SUPPORT H.R.1332 - Check the first comment for the link and please share to your pages so that we can get this done.
