A couple weeks ago I was invited to Iowa City to this adorable salon to teach a cpr class. And these ladies were so much fun! Obviously Tyrone stole the show as he always does ❤️😂

To everyone following our foster pup Pollyanna story, we have a happy ending ❤️ and found her forever home on Sunday! A very nice family and a fur sister whom immediately started playing together 😍

Tyrone was the best demo dog during our Pet CPR & First Aid class today! I’m so proud of how this class went and so grateful for such an engaged, enthusiastic group of students. Teaching lifesaving skills for our furry family members is always an honor — and today was extra special. 💙🐾

Meet PollyAnna 💕

This sweet girl is a neglected pitbull puppy who just joined our home as a foster and she’s already stealing hearts. Despite her rough start, PollyAnna is full of love, resilience, and that irresistible puppy wiggle.

One of the first things we focus on with our foster puppies is **building trust around food**. With PollyAnna, we’re incorporating **hand feeding** into her daily routine. Hand feeding helps:

🐾 Build a positive association with people near food
🐾 Strengthen trust and bonding
🐾 Teach gentle mouth manners
🐾 Reduce the risk of resource guarding as she grows

For puppies who may have experienced scarcity or competition, this simple practice can make a lifelong difference. It’s not about spoiling — it’s about setting them up for success.

PollyAnna is learning that hands bring good things, that she never has to worry about her next meal, and that she is safe.

Had a wonderful CPR class today easing back to work from Christmas break! Had multiple salon owners in class! Love teaching this class and imparting all that knowledge I have to others ❤️
