A pastoral response as wildfires threaten Spokane and gun violence disrupts Twin Falls Beloved friends in the Greater Northwest Area, Our hearts continue to ache as disaster unfolds in our communities once more this week.  While lives are still shattered in Seattle from gun viol…

We are holding all those impacted by wildfires throughout the region in prayer, and encourage all of our churches to lift prayers for wildfire victims, communities, firefighters, and emergency workers this Sunday.

Spokane's fires are also testing its churches. As Level 3 evacuations spread across northwest Spokane, congregations are stepping up — opening their doors as shelters, canceling services, and organizing prayer for evacuees, first responders and neighbors who've lost homes. We're rounding up how local faith communities are responding and will keep updating as we hear more. 🔗 https://favs.news/spokane-congregations-open-doors-wildfires-evacuations/

If you're part of a congregation responding to the fires, or know of one we should include, message us — we want this list to be as complete as possible.

Meet our Superintendent team. This innovative shared superintendency model aims to enhance our ministry connections. https://conta.cc/4wJSiwE
