The Hinterland Music Festival 2026 stage is one step closer to completion! We can't wait to show off the finished project, and we're even more excited to see it come to life with all the music and festivities that surround it. 🎶

Introducing our 2026 Summer Interns! 🚧

We are excited to have Addison and Ty on the Neumann team this summer!

Both come to us from Iowa State University as Construction Engineering majors and will spend the summer working alongside our project managers to gain hands on experience and growth in the construction industry.

This ~11,000 SF executive suite renovation reimagined the 16th floor into a modern, high-performing workplace overlooking downtown Des Moines that is designed to support executive leadership and collaboration.

The space features 13 private offices, three conference rooms, a premium boardroom, collaborative work areas, administrative support spaces, and a catering kitchen for meetings and events.

A standout feature is the integration of the DIRTT demountable wall system, installed by Neumann’s certified team, that allows for long-term flexibility without compromising aesthetics.

Members of our team spent an afternoon at Glendale Cemetery placing flags for the brave heroes who gave their lives to our country.

🌟 Meet Kingsley Jewitt, a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor from the ACE Mentor Program of Central Iowa! 🏗️

First introduced to ACE in 2010 as a student at Des Moines Hoover High School, Kingsley’s early exposure to architecture, construction, and engineering careers helped shape his professional path. He returned to the program in 2018 as a mentor, bringing a firsthand understanding of how ACE can open doors for students who may not otherwise see themselves in the industry.

ACE student Sirina Reed shared, “Kingsley’s organization, enthusiasm, and genuine care for students sets the tone for every session and motivates both students and mentors to bring their best each week.”

This week is National Safety Stand-Down Week where we bring awareness to fall hazards and prevention. 🚧

We know that falls are the leading cause of death in construction, which is why our team will be focusing on the planning, prevention, and training practices that reduce risks of falling to ensure each of them makes it home safely at the end of every day.
