Call for Artists: Contemporary Craft Founder's Prize

Hey craftspeople, competition alert for you.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary in 1997, Contemporary Craft established a $5,000 prize for excellence in the field of contemporary craft.

This biennial award, which is given in conjunction with a catalogue, video profile and juried exhibition, is funded by the daughters of Elizabeth R. Raphael, the founder of Contemporary Craft and a nationally known figure in the contemporary art scene for many decades. Prizes are selected by medium, with the designated medium changing with each biennial award.

All digital entries must be received by 5 pm Friday, June 9, 2017. More information is available online.

Our event, Market Day, is looking for amazing vendors for our May 21st show. Fill out an application now! They are open until March 1st.

Market Day Application 2016 Beginning in 2016, we will use a one application/one show system. That means instead of applying for both the May and November shows with one form, you will apply to each show individually. This application will be for the May show only. It will not qualify you for the November show.
