Congratulations to Grace K., Rachel E and Laura M., UnityPoint Health – Des Moines internal medicine residents, for winning this year's Doctor's Dilemma competition at the Iowa American College of Physicians Fall Meeting! Competing against residency programs from across the state in a fast-paced, Jeopardy!-style medical knowledge challenge, the team earned a first-place finish and a spot at the national competition in Los Angeles in April. Join us in celebrating their achievement and wishing them luck at nationals!

Thanks to a generous gift from Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel, new flight suits and helmets were purchased for our emergency medicine residents! This equipment supplies resident physicians with the necessary gear for safe and effective emergency transport. 🚁 💙
