Designed for children ages 10 and under, the Blue Ribbon Kids’ Club gives young Fairgoers a unique behind-the-scenes Fair experience filled with hands-on activities, special events and exclusive member perks, August 13-23. Members must be registered before August 1, 2026.

Pre-registration on the Iowa State Fair website is required this year to guarantee personalized materials before the Fair begins. No on-site registration will be available this year.

The Bondurant-Farrar FFA chapter planted seeds that will grow into the crops you'll see in The Garden during the Fair. They'll come here twice a week to help water and maintain the plants, in addition to every day of the Fair.

The Agriculture Building got a rooftop refresh. Those iconic domes are looking bright white and Fair-ready. 🤍

Have You Herd? The Iowa State Fair wants to showcase youth exhibitors in both 4-H and FFA and provide livestock education. 🐐🐑🎓

As summer returns to Iowa, so do the flavors and homegrown spirit that make the season special. From August 13-22, Iowa vendors, gardeners and makers will bring their best homegrown products to the Iowa State Fair Farmers Market.

Young entrepreneurs can apply for the 2nd Annual Kids Makers Market on the final day of the Fair, where kids ages 5 to 17 can sell their handmade creations and creative talents for awards.
