DAD: Such a simple word, and yet it carries so much love, strength, and meaning.
A father’s love can give us a small glimpse of the way our Heavenly Father cares for His children. Through steady presence, patient guidance, and faithful love, dads have a unique opportunity to reflect the heart of God in the lives of their families.
We thank God for fathers and father figures, and we pray they feel honored, encouraged, and deeply loved.
Happy Father’s Day!
Dads play a vital role in shaping our lives and creating lasting memories. What’s a lesson or memory with your dad that has impacted you?
"Saying 'God will protect us' without taking steps to prevent foreseeable harm isn't faith — it's recklessness." -Matt Gumbert

We had an inspiring company luncheon at the home office today! Our team gathered for a meaningful devotional led by our Chaplain, Terry Walthall, and enjoyed a special visit from Kevin Norton of Lightwell Arizona. It was a great time of fellowship and community!

Aaron Hansen serves as a Senior Client Relationship Executive, spending much of his time supporting churches and ministries, answering questions, helping clients navigate their coverage needs, and building strong relationships. He strives to be a “Swiss Army knife” for the agency, ready to jump in wherever he is needed.
But outside of work, Aaron has plenty of interests that keep him moving and creative.
He and his wife enjoy cycling together on the trail systems around central Iowa, especially the paved rail-to-trail paths that stretch for miles. Aaron is currently training to complete a one-day 100-mile ride.
Aaron also enjoys gardening, which he says helps him relax and lower his stress. He has an artistic side too, in his free time, Aaron paints and is learning to play the Ukulele.
Aaron also has a deep interest in history and enjoys listening to long-form podcasts about major world events, including World War I, World War II, and the Cold War. And when it comes to food, he is always up for good barbecue, especially at a favorite spot near Des Moines, Iowa.
Aaron has an unforgettable fun fact: as a child, he spent time at a local zoo in Greenville, South Carolina, where his mom worked and where he often helped feed baby lions, tigers, bears, and leopards.
Aaron's life reflects a mix of service, curiosity, creativity, and a love for the outdoors. We're thankful to have him as part of the Lightwell Iowa team!

Mission trips are full of purpose, but they also come with risks that churches should be prepared for.
Before sending a team, it is important to ask the right questions about medical emergencies, travel interruptions, and insurance coverage. A little preparation can help your team serve with greater confidence and care.
The challenges of mission travel often look different than expected. Some show up quietly. Others arrive without warning. And many are things churches do not realize they need to plan for until they are already facing them.
On the blog, Kurt Hetherington shared what he’s gleaned from 30 years in the insurance industry.
