BCycle is a bike sharing system. In layman’s terms: BCycles are there when you want one and gone when you don't. It's like Red Box for bikes.
Just swipe your card, grab a bike, and get to where you’re going. Des Moines BCycle is the new way to get around town. Des Moines BCycle members can pick up a bike at any station and return it to that same station or any other station when they’re done. Using their B-cards, members can unlock a bike in seconds. BCycle is now apart of the decade club! Since 2010, our non-profit bike share program has grown from 4 stations and 16 bikes to 27 stations and over 200 classic and e-bikes! Thank you our riders, sponsors and partners who have supported Des Moines BCycle along the way!

We would LOVE to see you for our 2021 Economic Bike Tour this Friday!
Highlighting Des Moines’ downtown development projects and B-Cycle program, we will be biking to development sites to learn about the impact they have on our thriving local economy.
Riders can stay afterwards and head over to Court Avenue Restaurant and Brewing Co. where the first round of brews is on the house!
(This event is BYOB (Bring your own bike) or you can rent a B-Cycle through the event registration from Des Moines Bicycle Collective.)
