Vital Signs Display Graphics

📰 Iowa City upgrade: In 1966, the Daily Iowan consolidated into a new facility with offset presses, driven by flood risks and enrollment growth—marking Iowa's shift to modern university printing! At Vital Signs, we adapt to challenges with durable, high-quality custom graphics for Des Moines businesses, worthy of the brands they represent. How do you adapt in your work? Share your tips! 💪

Talk about a truck that stands out! 👀

We recently printed and installed this full wrap for Operation Downtown, an initiative of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. From the bright blue cab to the Des Moines skyline wrapping around the bed, this F-250 is ready to represent downtown DSM wherever it goes!

Full vehicle wraps are a great way to turn an everyday work vehicle into a moving billboard for your organization or business. 🚙✨

Thanks to the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Operation Downtown for trusting Vital Signs with this project!

Who says graphics have to be flat? 👀

We can create custom dimensional displays that give your branding a little extra pop — literally!

Whether it’s for a trade show, event, countertop display, branded office display, or something completely unique, we can help bring your idea to life.

🏆 And this year’s Dip Contest Champion is… BOBBY! 🏆

Bobby took home the win with his cream cheese bake topped with jalapeño jelly and bacon bits. 🤤🔥🥓

When asked what his winning creation was called, Bobby didn’t have a name for it… so naturally, we took matters into our own hands.

Introducing: The Bobby Bake™ 😂

Congrats, Bobby, on the win—and your newly named signature dish!

The countdown to Cy-Hawk is on! 🏈

Who do you think is taking home the win tomorrow? 👀

❤️💛 Cyclones
🖤💛 Hawkeyes

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers everywhere. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved long weekend!

AI-generated artwork can look great on screen—but that doesn’t always mean it’s ready to print. 👀 Here’s why 👇

Team Spotlight: Meet Brian Popp, our Production Manager and the ultimate “System”!

🌟 Fun Fact: Brian is the true definition of well rounded — he's a tech nerd who loves Apple products, photography, videography, amateur guitar, and he’s a former motocrosser who still hits the snowmobile trails hard. He’s also an armchair meteorologist and a proud lover of all things Iowa.

🦸 Superhero Alias: “The System” He’s the connective tissue that keeps everything running smoothly — the one who sees where jobs might break down and quietly fixes them before anyone notices. He builds both technical systems and human systems so work flows better for the whole team.

🎨 Favorite Project: Installing stair graphics for the NCAA Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena on his very first day. He was thrown straight into the deep end with no life jacket… and quickly learned he could swim.

🏡 Iowa Love: Lua Brewing — the food, drinks, vibes, and staff make it one of his absolute favorite spots in Des Moines.

🐶 Team Vibe: “We base our culture on kindness. I know I can trust that we all have each other’s backs — especially when life gets hard. Sick or have a family emergency? No problem — go take care of what matters, we’ll hold down the fort.”

🏔️ Perfect Day Off: In the mountains with his wife, completely disconnected from the world. It’s the best way he recharges and keeps his sanity in our always-connected life.

💡 Advice to Newbies: “Be a sponge and stay career-focused. Learn absolutely everything you can, spend time in every area of the industry, and don’t stay isolated in just one box. Get outside your comfort zone — you won’t find the walls unless you bump into a few.”

At Vital Signs, Brian keeps the whole operation running at a high level so we can create custom signs and graphics worthy of the brands they represent — all while staying curious, helpful, and one (or more) step ahead.
