SRP Art Gallery welcomes Melynda Van Zee. Melynda works with a process of painting dimensional lines of acrylic & layering washes of translucent acrylic color on canvas. She says the freehand spirals are reflective of her inner life & the growth processes of our human trajectories. The spiral is the most common design form in nature & deeply symbolic of growth, change, and transformation. In essence, Melynda's paintings are a colorful map of a search for joy.
