We are so disappointed to share that The Medical Privacy & Freedom Bill has been shredded and is being used as a bartering chip. It has been added into an omnibus bill that contains three other issues that also limit your legal avenues.

Please call your representatives TONIGHT and tell them to vote NO on HF2279! Iowans deserve medical privacy and their rights intact!

VALOR Iowa is currently representing you in supporting the removal of obscene material and hardcore po*******hy from public school libraries and classrooms (SF2198) in the full senate judiciary committee. One Senator believes this bill is not beneficial for students because it would “hide the dark things of society.” What are your thoughts on this bill and that senator’s views?

As we know, committee start times can be delayed due to caucusing by either party. The State Government committee is expected to reconvene after the House debates the tax bill.
