The caterpillars have arrived! We'll post updates here, but stop in the Children's Room in the next few days to see them as caterpillars!
By next week, they'll form their chrysalises, then transform into butterflies, just in time for our Summer Reading Kickoff on June 29th, where we will release them into the wild.
What should we name our future butterflies? There's a jar for suggestions, which Mr. Brendan will read aloud at the release. This is a great opportunity to make Mr. Brendan say something silly in front of everyone!
Check out these new arrivals at the Derby Neck Library!
There are three new movies, ten new children's books, and three other new books.
The new movies this week are "Point Blank [Blu-ray]," "Twinless," and "Kinuyo Tanaka Directs: Love Letter / The Moon Has Risen / Forever a Woman / The Wandering Princess / Girls of the Night / Love Under the Crucifix [Blu-ray]."
