Main Entrance Photo Background &
Student Store

These projects were a fun addition to the work we have done at DHS. For photos that would be posted to social media, news sites etc. there was a need to have a place where pictures could be taken instead of just in front of a brick wall. This 8ft x 8ft LED backlit panel background was designed to have the same look as the other projects in the main entrance area and in the gym lobby.

For the student store project, "The Jungle", the design was to encircle the room with a jungle background of trees and vines, with the Derby Panther looking out from behind large jungle leaves.

Wineteer Elementary School
Gym and Exterior Projects

As part of the continued updating efforts at Wineteer, we were able to work on more graphics projects this summer. The school gym walls, ceiling structures and ductwork was painted by HTI Painting, Inc. with the opposing color and stripe design on all the walls. For the south gym wall, the outlined Thunderbirds lettering (approx. 5ft tall) was stretched across the width of the court. At midcourt, the Thunderbirds logo was painted, a look consistent with other schools in the district.

For the exterior wall by the main entrance, a design similar to the one painted in the cafeteria last year welcomes students and visitors to the school.

USD 385 - Andover Middle School
Cafeteria Wall Project

AMS Principal Amy Champlin envisioned changing a centrally located cafeteria wall into an eye catching accent wall that would be used to showcase pictures and media taken by yearbook staff.

To accomplish this goal, a floating wood frame had to be built that attached to the cinder block wall that would support the weight of the 98" TV and 10ft x 13ft Trojan sign, both backlit with LED lighting. 86 vertical pine boards were cut to size and attached to the frame with equal spacing between each board.

Main Gym, Weight Room and Office Projects

For this project, 3 main areas are highly visible from the school entryway. Windows surrounding the gym/weight room offer unique views into the area, and the main office can be seen through large windows, so we wanted big impactful designs for students and visitors as they enter the school.

For the courtside design in the gym, the concrete wall is divided into sections by vertical ridges cut into the surface. Those gaps were filled in to make a smooth face across the 10'H x 86'W design. The wall was painted black, with 8ft tall Wildcat lettering and large Wildcat logo painted on top. Then 24" El Dorado cutout lettering was applied to the wall above.

In the weight room, the area above the windows to the ceiling (10'H x 85'W) was painted black. Then the middle logo (7ft tall by 27ft wide), and 3ft tall lettering on were painted on.

For the office, the wall behind the front desks has a section either side of the middle door. The right side is filled with a shadow Wildcat graphic behind red and white lettering. On the left side, a hand crafted LED backlit Wildcat sign lights up the area.

Main Gym Logo Graphics

5ft tall outlined lettering with 2 Rocket Logos on each side of the gym walls above the bleachers.

Augusta High School Oriole Softball
Softball Field Dugout Graphics

Painted stripe design on the back of the dugouts showcasing black lettering outlined in white and Augusta orange. The stripe design wraps around to the side wall merging into the Oriole logo overlooking the field. Oriole homeplate logo is painted on the dugout entrance wall.

I am grateful to complete this project for Augusta High School! Thank you to AD Josh Ybarra, former AD Doug Law, Superintendent Matt Ward, Director of Operations Steve Powers, and Principal TJ Meyer for the opportunity!

Cafeteria Wall Graphics
8ft x 38ft Brick Wall

This was a very challenging surface to paint...very porous bricks with deep inset mortar lines. To achieve straight lines, each brick would not only have to have the front painted, but the top and bottom as well. The finished product created a really cool effect when you look at it from different angles!

Wrestling Room Project

This project called for covering large wall spaces with school colors, logo and phrases used by the program. The room can be seen from the main gym through large windows, so focused on the use of large graphics for the best visibility inside and outside the room.

EHS Athletics commitment, lettering was painted on the the room entrance wall, above and below the trophy and equipment shelf. Champions lettering surrounds the whiteboard.

The back wall of the room is very long and divided into 3 sections with red backgrounds on the outside, and black for the center. The centerpiece of the project is the 14ft wide Wildcat Logo LED backlit sign. The lights offer many color and effect options, including pulsating to music as shown. Wildcat Wrestling graphics fill the red background areas.
