Swaney Elementary

Our students had fun showing off their wild side today for Animal Print Day!

Tomorrow's theme is Woke Up on the Wild Side - Crazy Hair Day!

Walk with Swaney in the Homecoming Parade!

Join us Thursday, October 8th! Families walking with us should arrive by 5:30 p.m
If you would like to donate candy, please drop it off at the school office by Thursday morning.

Where to meet: We'll line up on Westview, south of Market Street, facing north toward Market, in front of the district transportation center. Look for the Swaney group in the lineup for entrie #17-25. Swaney is entry #17

If you need help finding us, a parade coordinator will be at the southeast corner of Market and Westview, in front of the transportation center.

We look forward to showing our Swaney pride together!

💚🏈 Happy Green Friday! 🏈💚

Congratulations to Mrs. VanNatta’s class for being our Helmet Winners again this week! 🎉

The students always have so much fun when the football players stop by—and this week, they even stayed to join in on a game!
We love these fun Green Friday visits!

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 💙🤍
We’re so thankful for the hard work our custodians do each day to keep Swaney clean, safe, and ready for our students and staff.
We appreciate you more than you know! 🐾

Our 3rd graders had a special visitor this afternoon!
Mayor Staats stopped by to talk with students about his job and what it means to serve our community. His visit was a great connection to what students have been learning about how our country and government work in Social Studies.
Thank you, Mayor Staats, for spending time with our Wildcats! 💙

Our 5th graders had a fun day at STARBASE last Friday! They explored CAD and got hands-on with experiments while learning all about matter!

📣 Reminder!

Kinder Buddy Day!
On Friday, Mrs. Nuckolls’ kindergarteners and Mrs. Molina’s 3rd graders spent time together, colored Respect bookmarks, and got to know their buddies.
A fun morning for everyone! 😊
