🐶Patsy (midnight maiden left) could use some help - a sweet puppy in Colorado has a heart murmur-- and can't get spayed until she has clearance to undergo anesthesia ; Puppies rescued by a PACFA licensed rescue in Colorado (like us) stay in rescue until they are sterilized. We are looking at (in addition to previous exams and vaccines ) --approx. $800 EACH just to get the opinion from cardiology.
🐶 Frankie (fawn Fonz right) went to a cardiologist --board certified-- for similar opinion but his is of course due to his having been Heartworm positive. Even though treated, his bloodwork shows him as positive --likely will have this bloodwork result for about a year and as such is not approved for sterilization. Each blood test is hundreds of dollars on top of the cardiology consult; at
