Cooler temperatures are arriving, and mouse season is heating up 🐭🍂
As the weather changes, mice begin searching for warm, protected places to shelter. Small gaps around foundations, siding, utility lines and garage doors can provide the access they need to get inside.
Traps may remove individual mice, but they don’t close the openings allowing more to enter. Skedaddle identifies those hidden entry points, removes the mice humanely and protects vulnerable areas against future activity.
Hearing scratching in the walls or finding droppings? Contact Skedaddle before a small mouse problem has time to grow.

Don’t let those little faces fool you. These young squirrels can cause more damage than homeowners might expect! 🐿️
Squirrels remain active throughout the fall and winter, searching for food and protected places to shelter. If they find access to an attic, they may chew wood, insulation and wiring or enlarge existing gaps to make moving in easier.
Because they won’t simply disappear when winter arrives, it’s important to address squirrel activity early. Contact Skedaddle for a humane removal and prevention plan.
Would you have noticed the opening beneath this exhaust vent? 🐭
Although the top and sides appeared to be sealed, an improperly installed range exhaust vent had left a large gap underneath. That hidden vulnerability gave mice a direct route into the basement.
Our technician will screen the open area with professional-grade exclusion materials and install a one-way door. This allows mice inside the home to leave while preventing them from using the same opening to return. The rest of the exterior will also be inspected for other gaps requiring protection.
Traps and bait may address the mice you see, but they don’t solve how they’re entering. Mouse populations can grow quickly, making it important to address the problem at its source.
