Friday Night Lights! Enjoy the weekend.

This time of year, as the days grow shorter, landscapes start to take on a different character. The right outdoor lighting brings depth and dimension, as well as safety and security.

From highlighting architectural details to creating an inviting glow around patios and gardens, a well-designed lighting plan extends the beauty and enjoyment of your landscape well beyond sunset.

A thoughtful lighting design balances function and beauty, creating a landscape that feels welcoming, elegant, and secure.

Thinking about lighting for your landscape? We'd love to hear from you.

Pleased to share that our 2025 NALP Judges’ Award for landscape management was featured in the latest issue of The Edge.

Our residential landscape management team earned one of only three Judges’ Awards presented in 2025, selected from the top-scoring Gold Award winners across the entire Awards of Excellence program. The recognition reflects the year-round care and attention to detail behind a Denver landscape we’ve maintained since completing the original design—weekly visits through the growing season, biweekly through winter, and a team committed to keeping it thriving long after installation day.

Thank you again to the National Association of Landscape Professionals for this prestigious honor and the beautiful feature.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. See you next year!

The Work Behind The Weekend.

Beautiful landscapes may be what you see. It’s the people behind the work who make it possible. Designers, project managers, craftsmen, gardeners, crews—each plays a role in creating timeless outdoor spaces that become backdrops for the moments that matter.

This weekend, we hope those backdrops are filled with good food, cold drinks, family, friends, and absolutely no alarm clocks.

To our incredible team: thank you for all you do.

Happy Labor Day weekend from Lifescape Colorado.

A great outdoor space happens when the client's vision leads and a thoughtful plan follows.

What starts out on paper as a list of elements—a fountain, a garden statue, an outdoor kitchen, a fire feature—comes together seamlessly, each moment connecting to the next. Evenings feel unhurried. Sounds and smells abound. Conversations linger.

Individually, they're details. Together, they're an experience.

The art of living outdoors.

Fire and water. Each brings something different to the landscape. Together, they inspire something extraordinary. A focal point that draws you in—and a setting that makes you want to stay.

All the elements of a perfect evening.

Proud to continue our partnership with Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary and support the incredible work Mary Leprino and her team are doing for senior dogs in our community.

Members of our Lifescape Colorado design team attended the annual Pepper 'Em With Love Gala this week, and we were honored to once again be a contributing sponsor in support of their mission.

A wonderful evening for an even better cause.

Some gardens play a bit of peek-a-boo before revealing themselves. Here, a custom-built gate does more than mark an entrance. Its curve echoes the brick archway it unveils, a deliberate repetition of form. It’s a quiet architectural cue, drawing the eye forward through layers of ivy and shade toward the sound of water, before the space comes fully into view.

Every element—the gate, the fountain, the seating arranged in careful symmetry—was placed with intention, each shape a conversation with the next. The result isn’t just a garden. It’s an invitation. Won’t you come in?

Late summer is when texture becomes the show. A thoughtfully planned design should give you lasting interest for months. Succulents, ornamental grasses, and late bloomers add layers of subtle color, movement, and depth while quietly conserving water.

Colorado’s semi-arid climate means every landscape must work a little harder. Our team designs with these conditions in mind, working with mother nature instead of against it to deliver elegant landscapes that are beautiful and practical.
