Our mission is to promote and support Road Running, Cross-Country and Mountain, Ultra & Trail Running for open and masters (40 yrs. +) athletes
As one of the 57 USA Track and Field associations, the Colorado Association governs the sports of track & field, long distance running, cross country, race walking, and mountain/ultra-distance/trail running within Colorado. The USATF Colorado 10 km Championships are back on the schedule as part of the Colorado Springs 10K Classic (Open Race).
The new date is July 19 (this Sunday).
The entry deadline is Thursday, July 16.

Can you imagine breaking a course record and an event record and getting 8th in a race?!? USATF Colorado out in full force this morning at the Pumpkin Pie 5K / USATF Colorado Championship 5K race. 14 of the top 15 finishers USATF Colorado members! Female course and event records also went down big! Masters Overall highly competitive also. Results to follow.... Thanks Colorado Runner Derek Griffiths and Jessica Griffiths for hosting another championship! And of course this just not happen without lots of volunteers...

Athletes from the Centennial State put on a show in Chicago last weekend.

USA Track & Field Colorado Association - Riley, Mock, Flanagan, Stinson rewrite U.S. all-time lists in Chicago Monroe, competing in just his second marathon, finished in a career best time of 2:14:15 (previous best 2:26:28; 2018 New York) and Wilim finished strong over the last half of the race to run 2:14:54, also a career best performance. They finished 23rd and 26th, respectively.

14 members of USATF Colorado competed in the USATF Mountain Running Championships on September 29 in Waterville Valley, NH.
The highlights included:
º Five Coloradans placing in the top 10 in the men's race
º Andy Wacker and Seth Demoor finishing 2nd & 3rd overall
º Deanna Ardrey finishing 5th in the women's race
º Tyler Scholl winning the U20 division
º Chris Grauch winning the masters 45-49 division
º Mark Tatum finishing 2nd in the masters 55-59 division
