Truckers, a reminder that Colorado State Patrol Officers are human just like you. They have loved ones to come home to just like you. They are out there working to keep you safe over the road despite inspections you might not see eye to eye on.
A reminder that in Colorado like in any other state, the roads in the winter become more dangerous.
If you are stopped, please pull over to the RIGHT shoulder or go to the nearest exit if possible!
And don’t forget if you see first responders, SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER!

Be ready for a sudden drop in visibility to near zero. If you encounter blowing dust or blowing sand on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way off and keep foot off the brake pedal. Remember, 'Pull Aside, Stay Alive'.
Oreo, he was a true trucker dog at Axle Transport LLC from 2008-2019. We miss him dearly but know he is cruising The Rainbow Bridge in his custom canine big rig.
