Windows Dressed Up has been a Tennyson staple since 2008, but 4 years ago we took the leap into real estate ownership.
We wanted a space where homeowners and designers could come in, explore, pull fabrics, see treatments in action, and dream up what’s possible.
Today, we’re pretty proud of what happens inside these doors, and grateful to everyone who has walked through them.,

We’re seeing a little shift happening in interiors lately, and we’re here for it.
The clean, minimalist look isn’t going anywhere, but our clients want their homes to feel warmer and a little more collected.
One place we’re seeing it? Drapery hardware.
Old gold, antique brass, and bronze finishes are coming back into the conversation. They work beautifully with fabric and texture, bringing character to a room without making it feel overly formal.
It feels like we’re moving away from choosing something simply because it looks “clean” and asking a better question: Does this make the room feel good to live in?

Back to school means earlier mornings, earlier bedtimes, and getting everyone back into a routine. And if the Colorado sun is still streaming into the bedrooms at bedtime, good window treatments can make that transition a little easier.
Drapery adds softness to a bedroom, but with the right lining, it can also help darken the room, manage outside light, and create a more comfortable space for sleep. For even more control, we often layer drapery with a shade so you can adjust the light throughout the day.

We’re Lindsay and Heather — sisters, business partners, and the women behind Windows Dressed Up.
We bought the business in 2019, but our story has always been about more than window treatments. We love helping people create homes that feel beautiful, thoughtful, and truly personal. And we believe the details make all the difference.
As sisters, we bring different strengths to the business. Between the two of us, our days can take us from meeting with a homeowner or interior designer to choosing fabrics, solving a tricky window, checking in on something being designed and fabricated in our boutique studio, or watching a project finally come together at installation.
What we share is a pretty high bar for the finished result, and a belief that the experience of getting there should be just as good.
We’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built, the designers we get to collaborate with, and the homes throughout Denver and the surrounding mountain towns we’ve helped make more beautiful.
