Film Score Fest is excited to welcome Egemen Kesikli as our 2026 orchestra conductor!

Turkish musician Egemen Kesikli (pronounced Eh-gheh-men Kheh-sɪ́k-lih) strives to promote diversity and decolonize the canon in music theory, musicology, and music performance. He received his doctorate in composition from the University of Colorado Boulder and master's from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as Instructor of Music Theory & Musicology at Colorado State University and as the Director of SoundWorks at CU Boulder. When he is not teaching, performing, or composing, he enjoys cooking and collaborating on various arts projects with his family. egemenkesikli.com

We have secured some grant funding for FSF Denver, but we need your help to get the festival off the ground. We have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for the festival. Each donation will go directly towards FSF Denver, including venue rental, stipends for the conductor and musicians, and A/V needs at the performance. Festival participation is free of charge and always will be. But any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated!
