From the IWD Stage to the Heart of Indonesia 🇮🇩

This past March, María González (Founder & CEO of Adelante Community Development) joined our International Women’s Day panel. Recently, she took that entrepreneurial vision to Palu, Indonesia, for a transformative reciprocal exchange in partnership with WorldDenver.

After connecting with hundreds of local leaders alongside her host, Nur Rina Maskayanti, María saw firsthand how cultural exchange sparks immediate results. As María put it:

"What stood out most was how quickly relationships turned into action. Projects that had been in discussion for years gained momentum, and several are now successfully moving forward."

This is the power of international exchange—turning global dialogue into tangible, cross-border impact.

Thank you to all who attended last week’s sold-out discussion with Amb. (ret.) Alina Romanowski and Indira Lakshmanan at RMPBS’s Buell Public Media Center.

The room was deeply engaged as we dove into the complex geopolitical landscape of Iran and the evolving dynamics of the Middle East. It was a masterclass in diplomacy and journalism, tackling the nuanced questions that matter most for global security today.

There’s nothing like a full house to fuel such a vital global conversation.
