As concerns grow about the potential impacts of COVID-19/coronavirus, we want to ensure the DCC patrons and Colorado chess community that we have been monitoring the norms and practices set forth by other chess clubs across the country as well as local business, governments, and schools. With that being the case, we have made the decision to temporarily close the club. We will resume activity on Tuesday, April 14th, unless otherwise advised.

Here is what we are doing about the in-progress March tournament:
We will combine March and April into one tournament
Round 3 of the March/April tournament will resume on Tuesday, April 14th
Round 4 will be April 21st, and Round 5 will be on April 28th
If you have already paid for the full March tournament, you will not have any further entry fees to participate in April.

Denver Chess Club canceled tonight October 29, 2019

Round 5 canceled by the Denver Chess Club board after multiple people called in saying they could not make it due to all day snow.

No Chess October 29, 2019.

October DCC Tuesdays is limited to the 4 rounds already played.

Round 1 next week will be November 5, 2019.
