Peony season has been 💯 this year. Soaking it up as long as we can!
No reservations, no problem…well, we got there early and snagged a couple seats at the bar! We wanted to check out the lunch menu at The Lawrence so we went on Saturday. We started with some sweet potato Parker house rolls (the hot honey butter was the star). I had the “pick two” with bacon potato soup and short rib grilled cheese. He had the mushroom grilled cheese and fries (they were 💯). Definitely snag a reservation as it filled up quickly…they also have a patio that I’m looking forward to checking out soon.

Love this handy cheat sheet from June Roth’s Fast and Fancy Cookbook. I think I might even need to frame this and hang it in my kitchen.

Funny how a simple recipe can hold so many memories 💛

When you’ve got hungry kids, a hungry husband, and about 5 minutes of energy left… this is the kind of meal that saves the day 🙌
This Pizza Potato Casserole is hearty, cheesy, and fills everyone up without complaints (which is saying something 😅).
Even better? It reheats like a dream—so tomorrow’s dinner is basically done too.
Comfort food, full bellies, and one less thing to think about ❤️
