SCALLIWAGS VS. GRIZZLIES
LET’S GO WAGS! ☠️🏉

Final whistle: Scalliwags 28 – Queen City RFC 35.

Not the result we wanted, but there’s a lot to be proud of. We put in a ton of work leading up to this match, and every Scalliwag who took the field played hard, played for each other, and showed plenty of heart from start to finish.

A huge shoutout to the CSU players who came out and helped us fill out the roster. We truly appreciate you stepping in, putting in the work, and battling alongside us.

Thank you to Queen City RFC for a hard-fought match and a great day of rugby. Much respect, and we look forward to seeing you down the road.

To everyone who came out to cheer us on—thank you. Having our supporters on the sideline means more than you know.

And a big thank you to Comrade Brewing Company for sponsoring the Scalliwags and supporting our club. 🍻

We’ll take the lessons from this one, keep putting in the work, and come back stronger. Proud of the effort. Proud of the heart. On to the next one.

See you at Cook Park. ☠️🏉

Congratulations to Captain Sean Lanoza 🏉
The Scalliwags are proud to announce Sean Lanoza as our captain.
Sean has been with the Scalliwags since the beginning, helping build the foundation of this club and being there through every practice, match, win, loss, and everything in between.
Being captain is about more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about leadership, accountability, setting the standard, and representing the boys every time you pull on the jersey. Sean has earned the trust and respect of the team by doing exactly that from day one.
He knows what this club stands for because he’s helped shape it, and we couldn’t think of anyone better to help lead the Scalliwags into the next chapter.
Congratulations, Captain. Well deserved.
Now let’s get to work. 🍻🏉

History made. First 15’s match in Scalliwags history. 🏉
Not the result we wanted, but definitely a day we’ll remember.
We took the field against Boulder RFC for our first ever match as a full 15’s side and came away with a 65–15 loss.
The score is only part of the story. What it doesn’t show is 80 minutes of guys giving everything they had, learning as we went, backing each other up, and taking a big first step forward as a club.
And credit where it’s due. Boulder came ready, played a hell of a match, and earned the win. Much respect to the boys from Boulder for the competition and for being part of a big day for our club.
For the Scalliwags, this is only the beginning.
We’ll take what we learned, get back to work, and keep building.
Only up from here. 🍻🏉
If you want to follow a rugby club being built from the ground up, follow the Scalliwags and come aboard. There’s plenty more ahead. 🏴‍☠️

🏴‍☠️🏉 CALLING ALL RUGBY FANS — COME BACK THE SCALLIWAGS THIS SATURDAY! 🏉🏴‍☠️
The Scalliwags are back on the pitch and we want a big, loud crowd on the sideline when we take on Boulder RFC.
Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your teammates. Bring anyone who loves rugby, good people, and a great Saturday at the pitch. 💚☠️
