We had a great time filming at Regis Jesuit High School for their upcoming giving day! What a school, what a community and it’s also fun to feature and Phoebe when we ran into them throughout the shoot. View the final video at and thanks to their amazing marketing and development team for their guidance and support!

Day 3 with Juana. Juana was born with two club feet that she walked on for over 30 years prior to having them both fixed by the doctors at and is now not only mobile with two straight feet but warking in shoes for the first time. Her bright disposition and hospitality were amazing to be around and we truly wish her well.

Day 2 was amazing. We met with Jhon, who was born with club feet, in his small town of San Marcos. His left foot was straightened last fall and today we were able to see him living his life with full mobility. Truly inspiring.
Some quick selects from Day 1 in Peru. Moyobamba is a special city!

Street Promo!
It was two weeks before the COVID lockdown and we had no idea what the world had in store for us. In the end, this promo for Central City Opera’s 2020 Summer Festival was never released and the summer festival was cancelled.
Shooting on-location at a place like Union Station requires a lot of hoops to jump through. From permits, parking, storing gear cases, setting up a keyboard and begging Union Station not to charge an extra $75 just to run us some power, we found that in the end it went smoothly and the folks at Union Station were really amazing!
Our principal talent and opera virtuoso, Jennifer Dedominici, was so perfect as she had to approach tourists, business people and a few “plants” who were friends of Central City Opera, and sing to them, ask questions and just get enough content to fill a short promotional video.
Cheers to DP, Brook Aitken, our two cameramen, Joe Movick and Sean Heraty, sound guru, Lincoln Terhark, the Marketing Director for Central City Opera at the time, Gail Brainstetter, and the fantastic Jeremy Reger on piano!

Jib in Video 3
It was the spring of 2001 and we were masked, had a COVID compliance officer, and were shooting near Centennial Airport at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic. Stabio Productions was hired by UCHealth to help produce a series of short videos featuring Colorado Rapids players. Director Mike Mazzanti needed overhead shots for the individual moves that the players do in-game that are featured in each video, but a drone was not an option being so close to the airport.
Once again, I called in Rich Golish with the Jimmy Jib to tackle these shots. Along with DP Jeff Pointer, we were able to use the Jib at its full 28 foot length to keep a nice, stable and precise shot for Mike to frame up as he envisioned.
What I love is the steady and interesting angles we were able to achieve for these videos using the Jib, as well as the fast and efficient way the jib works with a good operator to quickly get the shot and move into the workout scenes without taking too much time with the talent!
On the Jib we had the Sony FS7 and the rest of the videos were shot with the Sony FX6. And shout out to our own Sean Heraty for making everything work smoothly as our AC!

Thanks to the Colorado Symphony for sharing a short snippet from our "in production" documentary about the life and legacy of the incomparable maestro, Duain Wolfe. He is retiring as the director and founder of the Colorado Symphony Chorus after 40 years! Come see Verdi's Requiem with the Symphony and Chorus and celebrate Duain Wolfe's amazing legacy!
