Hot dog! Hot dog! Get your hot dog!

After school today, the DA Parent Association (DAPA) hosted a Homecoming Hot Dog Tailgate for DA High School students. Today’s summer-like weather made it the perfect time to hang out before this afternoon’s Homecoming soccer and volleyball games.

The games begin at 4 p.m. Go, Mustangs!

It's not just Monday... It's the first day of Homecoming Week 2026!

To kick things off, last Friday we held an all-school pep rally, while today we held our annual Faculty vs. High School Girls Volleyball Game. Ask your student about who was victorious!

Remember to join us tomorrow afternoon at HOME for three high school Homecoming athletic events:

Boys Varsity Soccer Game at 4 p.m.
High School Girls Volleyball Level C at 4 p.m.
Girls Varsity Volleyball Game at 5 p.m.

Go, Mustangs!

Last weekend, DA’s Middle School Girls Volleyball Team cheered on the University of Denver Pioneers. Beyond the game, our players had the incredible opportunity to meet and connect with the DU players after the match. Talk about future Mustang motivation!

Congrats to FOUR DA High School athletes representing our school at the State Championship next week! Jack B., Luc S., Teddy P., and Wes P. , along with coaches Tom White and Jack Mestas, were honored at today's Pep Assembly. They leave this Sunday for a practice round, then play a two-day tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Pueblo Country Club. Good luck, and go, Mustangs!
Colorado High School Activities Association

A huge thank you to our DA Parent Association (DAPA) for sponsoring last week's Elementary Yard Games! Our students had a blast enjoying some sunshine, fun, and outdoor play.

Last week, our middle schoolers took a field trip to Red Rocks, where they hiked and enjoyed lunch al fresco. It was a fun way to experience the natural beauty of Colorado and a great way for the middle schoolers to bond as a community at the start of the year.

Last week, the DA Class of 2027 spent a full day and night enjoying their Senior Retreat. After ziplining and navigating an aerial course at a local adventure park, the seniors had an overnight campout right on our DA Quad!
