Thank you to everyone who came by and showed love Saturday for the opening of “Pain & Prosperity” my first solo art exhibition gallery show located at from now til August 2nd!! 🫀🖼️🫀

I wanted to take a very complex topic like PAIN & HOW IT CAN MAKE US GREAT & put it simply so as many people as possible can SEE certain people aren’t more special than others…. EVERYONES GOT IT. EVERYONE IS CAPABLE of GREATNESS & everyday we have choice.

I know that pain made me. It pushed me through all limits I thought I had. It can be used as a super power or a super weapon.

This show has been In the works for 12
Months & 3 months before show opening,
I got to face any siblings worst nightmare,
In the midst of creating a work of Hope,
I felt like I was on the last round of one of the biggest boxing matches of my life & equally close to winning as i was giving up,
Saturday will be the end.
&
I can’t be more excited to finish this fight.

While I was creating one of the pieces for this collection, I got a call from my mom…

Tears in her voice she told me and my siblings our brother had passed away.

A kind of pain I hadn’t experienced before.

It changed the trajectory of this collection just like it changed the trajectory of our lives.

I Hope it makes sense to those that need it most cuz it’s been hard to make sense out of it all.
