I’m trying not to overthink this, but I’ve noticed these little pimple-looking bumps around my mouth lately and now I can’t stop checking them. They don’t look huge, but they feel irritated and weird enough that I’m wondering if it’s normal mouth tissue, irritation, clogged glands, or something I should actually get checked.
I’m planning to call a dentist/doctor, but I was told a visit could be around $300-$800 depending on exam or testing, so I’m hoping it’s something simple. Has anyone had small bumps pop up throughout their mouth like this, and what did it turn out to be?

I’m 5 days post-extraction and still pretty sore, so of course I’m overthinking whether this is healing okay. The area looks a little strange to me, but I know extraction sites don’t exactly look pretty while they’re healing.
I already spent around $1,200 on the extraction, so I’m really hoping this is just normal day 5 soreness and not something that needs another visit. Pain isn’t unbearable, but it’s still noticeable enough to make me nervous.
For those who’ve had a tooth pulled, did yours still look and feel weird around day 5?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but my tongue has had this white coating for the past few days and now I’m wondering if it could be oral thrush or just dryness/irritation. It doesn’t hurt badly, but it looks off enough that I keep checking it.
I’m planning to get it looked at, but an appointment could be around $250-$600 depending on testing or prescriptions, so I’m hoping it’s something simple. I know nobody can diagnose from a photo, but has anyone had their tongue look like this and it turned out to be thrush?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but I’m 32M and noticed this soft tender area under my tongue. It isn’t really painful, but it feels noticeable enough that I keep checking it.
I had a molar removed on May 12 and then a molar filling on May 31, so now I’m wondering if this could be related to dental work, a salivary gland thing, or just normal tissue I never paid attention to before. I’m debating whether this is a dentist visit, P*P visit, or ENT visit, and of course I’m already thinking about the cost being anywhere from $300 to $1,200 depending on who I see.
Has anyone had something like this under the tongue after dental work, and who did you end up seeing for it?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but I’ve had this gum bump for about 2 years now. It hasn’t really grown or changed, and it’s not sore, but it does bleed when I floss around it, which is what keeps making me nervous.
I’m going back to the dentist soon, and I’m already worried the exam, X-rays, or possible gum treatment could end up around $600-$1,500. I’m hoping it’s just irritation or something simple, but I’d rather finally get a real answer.
Has anyone had a gum bump like this for a long time that only bled with flossing? What did your dentist say it was?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but I noticed this bump behind my front tooth and it had me worried. It was hurting at first, then the pain went away, but now it looks/feels bigger, which is what’s making me second-guess it.
I have braces, so I’m not sure if it’s irritation, pressure from movement, or something my orthodontist/dentist needs to check. Treatment has already been around $5,800, so I’m really hoping this isn’t another extra problem.
Has anyone had a bump behind their front teeth during braces that went away on its own, or did you need to get it looked at?

I’m trying not to panic, but my gums/teeth have been worrying me and I’m not sure what I can safely do while waiting to be seen. There’s redness, buildup, and some areas that look irritated, and I’m scared of making it worse.
I called around and was told an exam/cleaning could be around $300-$900, but if it needs deeper treatment it could be much more, which is stressing me out. I know I need a dentist, but in the meantime I’m wondering what helped others manage irritation without causing more damage.
Has anyone dealt with this and found a safe way to keep things calm until the appointment?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but yesterday morning I felt pain inside my cheek/jaw area and noticed what looks like a small cut or hole near the back of my mouth. Of course I Googled it, and now I’m wondering if it’s from my wisdom tooth, irritation, or something I should actually have checked.
It’s not unbearable, but it’s sore enough that I keep noticing it and checking it with my phone light. I called around and an exam could be around $250-$500 depending on X-rays, so I’m trying to decide if this is worth booking or if I’m panicking over a normal mouth sore.
Has anyone had something like this near the wisdom tooth/cheek area, and did it heal on its own or did you need a dentist?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but I noticed these small dark spots in the grooves of my back molars and now I’m wondering if they’re cavities or just normal staining.
They don’t really hurt, but I keep checking them with my phone light and making myself more anxious. I was told an exam and X-rays could be around $250-$450, and if fillings are needed it could be closer to $900+, so I’m hoping it’s nothing major.
Has anyone had spots like this that turned out to just be stains, or were they actual cavities?

I’m trying not to overthink this, but I noticed this weird raised-looking area near my back tooth and I can’t tell if it’s tooth overgrowth, a filling, or just the way the molar is shaped.
It doesn’t hurt much, but it feels odd enough that I keep checking it. I called about getting it looked at and was told an exam/X-rays could be around $300-$600, so I’m hoping it’s nothing major.
Has anyone had something that looked like this and found out it was just a filling or normal tooth shape?
