Lighthouse and compass for Anthony, to serve as a reminder of life’s purpose, and to provide direction and focus.

Stylized stairs symbolize a path, the way upwards towards the target. It may be challenging to walk at times and requires work, but it leads to the light, to self-improvement, to that which is worth having and achieving.

The lighthouse is a beacon that lights the way through life, as the compass provides direction.

The water element at the bottom right provides great flow for the design and goes well with the curvature of the arm. It is being continued by some geometric elements and lines in the upper left area. These bring movement and life into the tattoo.

The small bird silhouettes represent loved ones — the people that are important to Anthony.

I hope everyone had a good start into this exciting new year. It feels to me that this year will bring massive growth to many individuals, will build more community, create many opportunities for abundance, accelerate creativity and will contrast even more what it means to have this human experience.

I love you all and thank you for your continuous support 🖤

Third tattoo for Theo / continuation of his sleeve and chest piece. This design was centered around the idea of a “stairway to heaven,” a continuation of the broader narrative of life, death, and what lies beyond that is the concept of the overall project.

To bridge this new design with his earlier upper arm and chest tattoo, we incorporated falling and wilted leaves that visually connect back to the tree, representing the cycle of decay, transition, and release.

A significant part of the design process involved the staircase itself. To create the right fit for the elongated space of the forearm and to ensure a natural visual flow, I designed around twenty variations of staircases using 3D modeling software. This allowed for experimentation with shape, depth, and angle before settling on the final structure: a perspective that looks upward, guiding the viewer’s eye toward an open, atmospheric space.

To emphasize the “sky” and “heaven” aspect of the concept, I added two small birds in flight; light and playful in contrast to the heavier themes. They also serve as subtle nods to the recurring presence of birds in Theo’s tattoos: the phoenix on his chest, the owl with Athena on his side, and now these two in motion.

As with his earlier tattoos, certain visual motifs continue in this project: geometric fine lines, negative space, diagonal textures, and framing elements that resemble dimensional portals. These details not only help tie this new work to the existing ones, but also give the overall design a sense of cohesion and complexity.

Geometric chest tattoo for Brian 🙏🏻

Brian wanted a clean, minimalistic design in a geometric style that would blend well with his existing tattoos that followed a similar aesthetic.

I chose a series of elongated, sharp but still flowy parallel lines that echo the natural contours of his body. The elegant flow of the design is purposefully broken by a single, long line running across the chest: an intentional break that adds visual tension and intrigue.

We kept the shading simple and subtle to emphasize the clean and understated nature of the piece. Everything about it reflects a refined simplicity and minimalism.

Forearm tattoo for Alex 🌼

Alex wanted a tattoo that would serve as a reminder of the hardships he has overcome and the bad habits he’s left behind. He wanted something that symbolizes holding on to and staying true to his path, cherishing what matters most (like friendship) and making the right choices in life.

The design centers around a human figure gently holding a bundle of daisies, embodying the idea of “holding on” to what truly matters. Daisies are symbolic of friendship, which lies at the heart of Alex’s intention for this tattoo. At the top, some of the flowers are fading, representing the fleeting nature of all things, as well as the friendships he lost along the way due to choices in his past.

Beneath the figure, I designed bold, geometric shapes that are cracked and brittle, reflecting the struggles and instability of earlier chapters in his life. As the eye moves upward, these harsh forms begin to soften and round out, gradually giving way to the organic flow of the daisies. This transition represents his own transformation: from a place of hardship into a softer, fuller space, filled with growth and life.

Encircling the figure is a watch face, symbolizing presence, awareness, and a commitment to hold on to his goals and emotions for the long term.

Forearm tattoo for

The concept behind this tattoo was centered around the stretched nature of time, space, and the mind — the idea that everything is in a state of constant motion and expansion. Bob asked to have this represented in an abstract way and with a focus on geometry and psychedelic influences.
He also had a small, preexisting tattoo on his wrist of three simple arrows that we incorporated into the new piece.

The focal element is a hummingbird in a geometric, origami-inspired style. Hummingbirds are constantly in motion. In many cultures, they are seen as messengers from the spirit world, linking the earthly and spiritual realms, which seemed very fitting for the overall theme.

Two downward-pointing arrows are a symbolic tether to the earth. These also served to better integrate his existing arrow tattoo.

In keeping with the theme of expansion, I incorporated cosmic and space imagery, as a reference to time and mind continuously expanding — just like the universe. The upper part of the tattoo features a sacred geometry “flower of life” pattern, a motif that is often associated with psychedelic or mind-expanding experiences. It also symbolizes the universe and the expansion of consciousness as such.

Tying the composition together is a geometric background pattern that evolves in shape: beginning with a triangle at the base (the simplest of forms), expanding into a hexagon, and ultimately turning into a circle, the most complete and complex of all shapes. This progression is a subtle nod to the evolution of the mind from simple to very complex.

Back tattoo for

Christian wanted a design centered around mental growth, fortitude, and transformation, with aspects of anxiety, depression, and growing awareness.

The basis for the design is a branch of leaves growing up along the spine, along the central axis of the body, as a symbol of personal growth.

To represent the process of metamorphosis, I placed a caterpillar near the lower back, making its way upward. Higher up, it is pictured in its cocoon, and toward the top, several moths take flight towards a sun or flame.

As a central element, I was inspired by Christian’s thoughts on how meditation has played an important role in his personal growth process. So I placed a meditating figure as the center element. Its face is veiled, intentionally anonymous: it’s not meant to depict a particular person, but rather to represent the quiet, inward journey of self-discovery. Meditation, after all, is the practice of awareness, and often, a powerful antidote to anxiety and suffering.

The composition is framed with evolving geometric shapes: at the base, triangles give way to rectangles, and eventually dissolve into circles at the top. This progression mirrors the caterpillar’s transformation, with the triangle being the simplest and the circle the most complex shape. The circle also represents wholeness and the flow and cycle of life.

Thank you Christian for your continued trust and support 🙏🏻
