🌟 Employee Spotlight: Buddy Collins - Hazleton, PA🌟

Buddy Collins, is a Production Scheduler supporting both our Hazleton, PA and Baxter Springs, KS locations. Buddy has been part of the Alphia team for 4 years and 8 months, helping keep things running behind the scenes.

One of Buddy’s favorite things about working at Alphia is that “every day brings a new challenge and the teamwork it takes to get the job done.” He enjoys working together as a team and finding ways to make things happen.

Outside of work, Buddy enjoys bowling, golfing, and traveling. One of his favorite trips was touring the entire island of Ireland — including waiting an hour in line to kiss the famous Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle!

Buddy also loves where he lives in Pennsylvania, especially the mountain views and scenic backroads, which make for some pretty great drives.

At home, Buddy has two cats keeping him company — Isabella (“Izzy”), his 14-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat, and Patches, his 5-year-old Calico cat. 🐾

Thanks, Buddy, for everything you do to support the team — we appreciate you and all of your hard work!

Celebrating 20+ Years of Dedication – June Milestones 🎉

This month, we’re proud to recognize two team members who have reached 20+ years of service with Alphia.

That kind of commitment doesn’t happen by chance—it’s built on years of hard work, ownership, and a genuine passion for what we do every day.

These individuals have helped shape our teams, strengthen our culture, and play a meaningful role in feeding more pets and supporting our customers along the way.

Thank you for the impact you’ve made over the years—and for everything you continue to bring to the Alphia team.

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Meet Maxx & Monroe!🐾

This month’s Pet Spotlight features Tessa Keim, Corporate FSQA Specialist, and her adorable duo — Bronson Maxximus (“Maxx”) and Scarlett Monroe (“Monroe”) from Robinson, Kansas!

Maxx is a 3-year-old Mini Chocolate Labradoodle who celebrated his birthday on May 5th. According to Tessa, he is “the friendliest, most lovable dog you will ever meet.” Maxx enjoys playing fetch, tug-a-war with Monroe, and spending time with Tessa’s bonus son, Craven, who is non-verbal with extreme special needs. The two have their own version of hide-and-seek, and Tessa says it is one of the cutest things to watch.

Maxx recently got a fresh haircut and is currently sporting a mohawk — which he wears very well! Fun fact: his fur changes color in the summer, turning a silver-grey shade around his face and head.

Then there’s Monroe, a Mini Bichon Frise Labradoodle who will celebrate her first birthday on June 23rd. Tessa shared that on the way to pick Monroe out, she swore she was not getting a white dog — but Monroe quickly changed her mind and completely won her over. Now, Monroe proudly runs the house as the boss and is spoiled rotten (just the way Tessa likes it!).

Monroe can wave hello and goodbye, is very protective of her mom, and for some reason absolutely cannot stand Macaulay Culkin in The Good Son — something that still makes Tessa laugh. She recently had her first haircut and was less than thrilled about the experience.

And in the biggest update of all — Monroe officially became a mom during the last week of May to seven adorable puppies! What started as a surprise quickly turned into a house full of puppies, making Maxx and Monroe first-time pet parents.

Today, we celebrate 6 years of Alphia. 🎉

Over the past six days, we’ve reflected on the journey, growth, partnerships, purpose, and the people who have helped shape who we are today.

But today is really about one thing: gratitude.

To our team members across every site, shift, and role — thank you. The work you do matters. Because of you, we continue helping feed more pets every day while growing stronger together as an organization.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.

Ogden Utah - we’re excited to spend the evening with you! 🐾🚗

Tonight, the Alphia Team will be out on Historic 25th Street for the Ogden Car Show from 5–9 PM — and we’re looking forward to connecting with our community, meeting fellow pet and car lovers, and enjoying a great night downtown.

As we continue building connections in the Ogden community — including getting involved with our friends at the Ogden Downtown Alliance — opportunities like this matter to us. We’re excited to be part of the energy that makes downtown Ogden special
