After my first trip to Italy in 2008 I came back with a goal to start my own business. I wanted to continue traveling and living in different places around the world and bring my business with me. It took several years to make it happen (7 years to be exact) but it’s by far the best thing I’ve done in my life. I think almost every person I know strongly doubts that I even have a job, but I can assure you all I do.. I am just lucky enough to do it anywhere. And yes, I do sometimes also drink a glass of wine while I work. It makes me more creative.

For every pound of coffee sold, Javesca will purchase one pound of food to help those throughout the world who have little to no food. They not only provide great coffee but also do their part to end unnecessary hunger.

One of the benefits of your parents never throwing anything away are times like these. ❤️ In attempts to finally start the purging process with all of this time on our hands, last night my mom pulls out a box of my old college stuff. I’m mid sentence telling her to ‘just toss it all!’.. when I come across this newspaper article about my senior graphic design thesis. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read the answer to the 2nd question. Not only did I move to Colorado right after college, but I have also been a freelance designer for Vail resorts for almost 4 years now.. and while my design work isn’t on the outside of a gondola, it’s on the inside of them, on buses, in magazines, on signs, in your emails and at Vail’s biggest events . It’s uncanny how things happen in your life when you start to manifest your dreams. I did not remember even being interviewed for this article but I LOVE that I found it and realized my 10 (or 20) year plan actually did come to fruition. I have to say I’m pretty proud of what my 21 year old self accomplished.. pigtails and all. @ Vail Resorts

Here are some Wellness Month one-pagers I recently did for the Ritz-Carlton, W & St. Regis Hotels... it’s a fun design challenge to create a single piece that works well alone, while also emulating some very different, yet distinctive brands.
