This guy right here.

Man, I used to draw O-Z-Z-Y on my knuckles in junior high. Black Sabbath was my first musical obsession.

I’ve been to two Ozzfests and seen Sabbath four times. They are the template for the perfect band with this lunatic front and center. Rest well Prince of Darkness

40 years ago today the greatest punk record ever was released. Showing us all that punk can have a spiritual side. Without being a corn dog. RIP D Boon

What are some records you bought just because you liked the album art? Here’s a few for me.

Side note: I just bought that Deerhoof record yesterday. I know Deerhoof, and adore them, and didn’t realize this was them when the cover struck me!

The rest of the records I posted I had no prior knowledge of what they sounded like.

Many of you don’t know this, but I moved to Minnesota from NYC about nine years ago. It was completely unplanned and in a hurry. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer that April and I was back in the Midwest in a matter of days. No job. No money. No friends.

It was tough. Really tough.

But I made my mom, and myself a promise— stop fu***ng around and go make some God damn records. So I did. Without any hesitation.

I was 30 years old and had barely recorded anything. What can I say? I was a late bloomer. But I hit the ground running and I haven’t looked back. Thirteen releases in nine years.

Four singles, six full lengths, two EPs and one compilation. Not bad in nine years, aye?

I made it a point to not ask for a whole lot of help. Mostly to prove to myself that I could do this on my own without any strings attached. Which means a lot of these releases were financed by me, and me alone.

As for those who did help, and you know who you are, I love you and I thank you. From the bottom of my big dumb heart.

Thanks y’all. Please listen to the new single from “Toxic Fallout” streaming everywhere today!

❤️ you mom
