🎉 Graduation celebration time! 🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated the graduation of our first IT Support & Security Fundamentals cohort of 2026—and what a group they are.

This cohort brought energy, curiosity, and engagement from day one. Their valedictorian, Jaramie, shared a powerful reminder that success isn’t about always knowing what to do—it’s about asking the right questions.

We’re so grateful to Per Scholas instructors Marlin and Mahima for their guidance and encouragement, and for reminding learners to “stay curious, and stay in touch!”

The learners also created a short video sharing heartfelt thanks for their instructors and coaches, complete with illustrated portraits of Marlin and Mahima that truly captured them.

As they head into their capstone project at MSU, we’re proud to celebrate this milestone and cheer them on. 🎉

🎉 Ring the bell for Brenda Morales! 🎉

Brenda, a February IT Support & Security Fundamentals graduate, stopped by ActivateWork on Tuesday to celebrate landing a new role in HR at Terumo BCT—and our current learners came out cheering as she rang the bell.

Brenda shared something powerful with the class: even though she realized tech wasn’t the path she wanted to pursue long-term, finishing the program was still 100% worth it. She kept showing up, took advantage of every opportunity, leaned on her coaches, and leaned into her cohort—and that effort paid off.

Her advice to learners was simple and real: communicate, be available during your job search, ask for help, and support each other. The coaches are here for a reason, and your cohort can be your biggest cheerleaders.
