👟 BookGive is excited to announce it's this year's benefitting charity for the 12th Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, September 19 beginning at 7a!

✨️ This year's 80's-themed races will welcome runners and walkers of all ages to come out and spend the morning at Big Dry Creek Trail in Westminster, CO.

📕 We'll also be hosting a book drive during the event, so bring your gently used books with you to the race - and be sure to consider a donation to BookGive when you sign up, where 100% of your gift will go directly to supporting book equity across Denver.

Hi friends. Looking for a great place to donate your gently used books? Consider BookGive! With more than 60 worthy organizations still to receive a delivery of books this month, our shelves are looking a bit sad and are in great need of additional materials. Please consider donating books from your personal library, setting up a book drive with friends or co-workers, or any other ideas you have to help us meet the needs of those we serve. Literacy Creates Community! BookGive is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-noon to receive donated books. Thank you!

In fact, individuals and families who embrace dual language learning are more culturally aware and can often communicate with others using more empathy.

While we occasionally receive Spanish and English books from book donors, the demand for these types of books - especially for Title I schools - is outpacing the amount of donations we receive.

👉️ To address this community need, we are interested in connecting with people and businesses who share an interest in serving Spanish-speaking populations with in-demand books that keep children, young adults, and families engaged through the power of literacy.

A big shout out to Starfall Education Foundation for their amazing donation of more than 400 children’s books! We are so grateful for these beautiful new books in 9 different titles, and can’t wait to get them into the hands of our partner organizations.

Did you know… cookbooks are a highly requested genre by many of our partners? Organizations like Bienvenidos Food Bank and We Don’t Waste Mobile Food Markets depend on BookGive for a supply of great cookbooks to distribute to their users. If your kitchen shelves are overflowing with cookbooks you aren’t using, please bring them to BookGive, where they will find their way into the hands of families all over the Denver Metro area! BookGive is open for donations on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9am to noon. We are located at 4890 Lowell Blvd. in Denver. Thank you!
