Whether an individual receives support for 6 or 12 months, we see incredible things happen when we implement direct giving, alongside our partners soft services and workshops.

This World Mental Health Day, how about simply asking "how are you?" and really taking the time to listen to the response.

ESTHER have partnered with Christ in the City to support Homeless people through a pilot program in Denver, Colorado.

Children from poor families are less likely than those from more affluent families to complete school.

Education is a protective factor against poverty.

Supporting one individual can have a ripple effect. Changing the lives of children & grandchildren.

Around 1 in 6 adult women in the US have family incomes below the federal poverty line.

Women between 18 & 24 years old have the highest poverty rate at 21.9%, followed by children under 18.

Direct giving can tackle poverty in a secure, transparent and dignified way.

Women with a bachelor’s degree earn, on average, more than TWICE the amount than women with less than a high school diploma.

Having access to further education is a well-established pathway out of poverty!

We can support more women as they take that step into further education to create a better future for their families.

Agency is defined as “the capacity of individuals to act independently and to make their own free choices”.
