After an incredible summer, 52 days of filming (and counting), and nearly 200 interviews, it’s finally time to start talking about “Becoming Colorado.” This is a 5-part documentary series focused on the underrepresented voices of Colorado history. The show will air on Rocky Mountain PBS starting November 12.

“Becoming Colorado” is produced by Mile High Films, the Colorado Office of Film Television & Media, the Colorado Department of Education, History Colorado, and the America 250-Colorado 150 Commission.

Double-barrel FX-9 party on a recent corporate interview, with bonus vertical FX3. Shot this in a photo studio in downtown Denver, which can be scary for sound but everything worked out. We did have an interruption from Denver Fire doing some kind of ventilation check, so that was a new one 🤷🏻‍♂️

Awesome first day of filming for a new aviation project. Flight simulators are like a cheat code for interview backgrounds. Pleasantly surprised to be able to use the Super 35 cine zooms full frame with the FX3!

Excellent shoot in downtown Denver this week, with clutch work from make-up artist Marnie Brooks and stand-in extraordinaire Morgan Coffman. The whole crew had to switch into interior designer mode to transform a big empty white room into a nice set for our corporate interview.
