Lumber Forge is a community woodshop. Whether you are new to the craft or have decades of experience under your work belt, we want to provide a place where you can use professional tools in a community of like-minded artisans. Lumber Forge allows people to master woodworking and use incredible tools without having to plunge themselves into debt to do it!

Picked up some local pecan and a couple of cedar beams at a sale last week! The owner told us the pecan tree fell during a storm about 3 years ago just down the street from them. They used a tractor to haul it off and drove it to a sawmill in another town. Check out our Kickstarter and help us buy a sawmill for Denton! We can use local trees downed by storms or construction to give the lumber a new life as beautiful, handcrafted furniture!

Happy Earth Day! For our part, we took a Blackjack Oak tree blown down in the recent storms and had it milled into lumber that could be your next project. Unfortunately we had to haul it pretty far to get it milled. That's why we're trying to get a Saw Mill here in Denton, so that we can all salvage and recycle trees together! Back us on Kickstarter to help preserve our planet's beauty!
