Three sessions down, and we're still blown away by the people who continue to show up and make Songwriter Sessions what it is.

Another incredible night of writing, recording, collaborating, and creating something completely new. A HUGE thank you to our songwriters, our incredible studio band, and everyone behind the scenes who brings these nights to life.

And a very special thank you to the lovely folks over at The Callie Clinic for their continued support and generous contribution for this month's session. Having people and organizations in our corner who believe in what we're building means more than we can say!

We couldn't do any of this without the artists, musicians, friends, and community who continue to believe in this idea of ours.

Three sessions. Three original songs. And a whole lot of people to thank.

Here's to everyone making it happen. ❤️

Another one to be proud of!

We're just a couple days away from our September Songwriter Session, made possible by our friends at The Callie Clinic!!

Our songwriters have officially been selected, and on Monday they'll walk into Split Window Studios to do what this whole program is about: meet, collaborate, write an original song from scratch, and bring it to life in the studio that same night.

And we've got one incredible studio band joining them:

🥁 Kris Killingsworth — Drums | Sunny Sweeney
🎸 Bill Corbin — Bass | American Aquarium, Mickey & The Motorcars
🎸 Alex Pitts — Guitar | Kaitlin Butts, Bailey Rae
🎹 Austin Roth — Keys | Teague Brothers, Tanner Usrey

We're also proud to welcome Callie Clinic as the sponsor of this month's session.

Callie Clinic has served the Texoma community for decades, providing healthcare, education, testing, outreach, and support with a focus on creating an environment rooted in care and free from stigma or judgment.

We're grateful to have a community organization like Callie Clinic step in and help make this month's night of collaboration possible.

Monday, we make another song!

We’ve had two Songwriter Sessions so far, and each one gave us a completely different song. That’s our favorite part of this. Put six writers in a room and you never know what they’ll come out with.

Applications for September close September 13, and we’d love to see yours.

We also want to give a special thank you to Callie Clinic, our very first Songwriter Sessions sponsor. Having someone step up and believe in this while we’re still getting it started means a lot to our team. Thank you for supporting our writers and helping us grow something we’re proud of here in Denison.

Please show Callie Clinic some love. We want them to know how much we appreciate them being part of this.

Our next session is Monday, September 21, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at Split Window Studios in Denison. It’s free to participate. Six songwriters will be selected and notified September 14.

Remember, you must reapply each month to be considered, even if you’ve applied before.

Apply by September 13 at:

We can’t wait to hear what comes out of session number three.
