Day 2 of VBS reminded us that life grows in God’s garden. We explored the incredible details God placed into His creation—from the tiniest seed hidden beneath the soil to the beautiful plant it becomes. Every stage of growth has a purpose.
A seed doesn’t become a flower overnight. It needs time, nourishment, sunlight, and care. In the same way, God is patiently at work in our lives. Even when we can’t see it, He is helping us grow.
Jesus pointed to flowers, birds, and seeds to teach us about God’s love and care. If God pays attention to every sparrow and clothes the flowers of the field with beauty, how much more does He care for us?
Sometimes growth is slow. Sometimes it happens beneath the surface where no one else can see it. But God never stops working. He knows exactly what we need and is faithful to finish the work He has started in us.
