Our PA students are exploring how everyday choices impact health and well-being, while developing practical strategies to help future patients thrive. From nutrition and exercise to stress management and behavior change, they're learning that some of the most powerful medicines start with healthy habits.

Because Lifestyle Medicine isn't just learned in the classroom, it's lived.

Around 7-8% of Physician Assistant in the U.S. identify as Hispanic or Latino. While patient safety always comes first by relying on professional interpreters for clinical accuracy and cultural nuances, learning basic medical Spanish connects us on a deeper level that goes far beyond diagnosing and treating. 🩺✨ This Hispanic Heritage Month, we are practicing medical Spanish to build bridges of communication, establish trust, and better serve our community.

From rotations back to the classroom! Our PA students were on campus this week refining clinical skills, expanding their knowledge, and learning from each other's experiences before returning to patient care.
