The projected price for winter wheat is set at $5.76/bu. for 2026 (down from $6.06 last year). This price helps determine your revenue guarantee for RP policies.

Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, premium support has increased for multiperil policies and add-on products like SCO and ECO—making stronger protection options more affordable.

In this week's significant temperature fluctuations defined the week in many parts of the country. Precipitation was limited outside the Pacific Northwest and Gulf Coast. Continuing degradation was recorded across the Plains. The Midwest experienced below-normal temperatures and continued dryness, leading to the expansion of moderate to severe drought across several states.
