Market Hall and Aaron Goldstein & Friends are excited to present Time Fades Away: Neil Young at 80 on Saturday, July 18 at 8:00 PM. Noted Canadian performer and producer Aaron Goldstein (Kathleen Edwards, Junkhouse, Cowboy Junkies, City And Colour, Daniel Romano) reprises his role as musical director for this celebration of local Omemee legend Neil Young’s 80th birthday - mirroring the acclaimed sold-out concert staged at Massey Hall on Young’s birthday last Fall. Goldstein brings with him to Peterborough a cast of some of the country’s most in-demand players and the set will showcase guest performances from a cast of singers and recording artists from the region.

Tickets are on sale now for members with general sales beginning on Thursday, April 23 at 12:00 pm.

Very excited to be bringing the Neil Young 80th Birthday show around Ontario (and a bit of Manitoba) this summer. It’s the same format as our acclaimed Massey Hall concert last fall: the “Gators” play the country songs; “Horse” plays the heavy songs; special guests come out and sing their favourite Neil tunes all night. There’s a lot of guitar playing and a lot of harmony singing. We’re doing hits and deep cuts alike. A different roster of guests at every show.
