Come by the library tomorrow, June 15, at 10am and play some board games! All are welcome to participate, regardless of ability or age.

Looking for a place to study for upcoming exams? From June 13-24 we'll be offering extra space for group-study in one of our program rooms. For specific times and room locations, check our calendar:

Board games have come a long way from Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders. Come by tomorrow, June 13, at 1pm to chat about games past and play new games with others. We will have several games to choose from and staff on hand to assist with set up.

If you are comfortable bringing a board game of your own, please feel free to bring it. This is intended to be a fun, social experience.

The library is pleased to be participating in the Capital Pride Parade this Sunday, June 14, with our fellow Upper Hudson public libraries. The parade kicks off at 11:30 a.m. in downtown Albany.

Hey teens, stop by the library tomorrow, June 12 at 3:30pm and join your friends to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch! For grades 6 and up.

Tomorrow, June 12, at 10am, come for an active story time, then we'll get out the parachute for songs and movement.

Tomorrow, June 11, at 6pm at Elm Avenue Park, be amazed by magician Shaun Robison at our first Thursdays in the Park event of the season! Shaun Robison's magic is a sophisticated blend of sleight-of-hand, comedy and mind reading, and his charming personality blends smoothly with his mind-blowing, high-caliber magic and illusions, leaving you not only astonished but thoroughly entertained as well.

Looking to explore the works of the late rebel, activist, author/illustrator and film maker Marjane Satrapi? Many of them are available through the library, including the hidden-gem dark comedy "The Voices", which is streaming now on Hoopla and Kanopy.
