Liberty Community Center

Our engraved bricks have arrived and look great! We were hoping to get these in to install in July, but will be installing sometime late August/early Sept. Stay tuned for a date/time of dedication.

As we approach the start of a new school year, we hope that all of our current & former students, will have a wonderful experience on their first day of school, and of course every day thereafter:) Our teachers and staff are preparing for the new school year and are working hard to ensure it will be a safe, fun and educational experience for everyone!

Many thanks to those who showed up Saturday to work on the gardening! We are sprucing up the new patio area to prepare for the brick dedication and have planted a butterfly bush, a hibiscus and transplanted some of the shade plants. Hoping everything flourishes where it's planted:)

Have a fun and safe 4th of July celebration everyone! Who is going to the parade today? Hope the rain holds off for all the activities!

Many hands helped create the new Family Promise House for homeless families in Delaware. Many hours of Habitat for Humanity volunteers throughout the community helped make the project happen. Donations were made from 3 of the Foundation's funds: Women Giving Together, Delwood Children's Home Fund & Robert Weiler Family Fund. A great community-wide effort.

Calling all alumni, teachers past & present, directors, board members and supporters of LCC....June 21st is fast approaching! It's not to late to get your brick order in for the July installation. $50 for individuals and $100 for businesses. A great way to support LCC and have your name a part of the landscape for many generations to come.

Our brick patio has been patiently waiting for us to install some dedication bricks...and we are placing an order this month, for installation in late July.

You can be part of this by purchasing a brick engraved with your family name, child's name or your business. A wonderful way to show your support of Liberty Community Center.

The order form must be turned in by the due date shown, to be part of the initial installation in July. Bricks can be ordered anytime after the deadline, however please note that we will wait until we have enough orders to lower the cost of engraving. The cost is $50 for individuals and $100 for businesses.

We are having so much fun during our Week Of The Young Child. Today we visited Ohio Wesleyan University and spend the word about helping children.
