Bakery - Cake Shop Chapa's Bakery opened for business in the late 1930's in the small town of Acuña, Mexico which borders Del Rio, Texas.
It quickly grew in popularity with its famous "Concha" bread and throughout the years it became a household name for its baked from scratch pastries. In 2013 Chapa's opened its Del Rio location. Spanning 4 generations and over 70 years in baking traditional Mexican Pastries, Chapa's Bakery strives to make the best quality pastries in the US/Mexico Border.

Today, on her birthday, we pause to celebrate and remember a beloved woman whose light continues to shine through every memory we hold dear. She was our mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. A soul of boundless warmth and quiet strength.
Her heart found its truest home in the bakery she built with such passion. With unwavering dedication and a tireless spirit, she worked every single day, treating her team like family and inspiring them with genuine kindness. She found deep joy in serving her customers and her community.
We honor her memory by carrying forward the values she lived so fully. Love, hard work, and sincere service remain the enduring pillars of our bakery.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the work we do and the lives she touched.
Happy Birthday in heaven, Mom. We love you beyond words and miss you every day. ❤️
